TwitterThe micro blogging network Twitter has announced that they will change the look of their web version. After many updates on the mobile version Twitter has also changed the look of the app. And now they are trying to do the same thing with the web design.

The redesign will look much more attractive than the old one by making it similar to the mobile app. The top navigation bar has changed from black to white and tweets will appear on a white background. They have also changed the navigation buttons by making them just as they are on the mobile app, which is available for iOS and Android.

Twitter 22The whole redesign includes changes in the Direct Message button, the button to write new tweets and also the button that goes to your own profile. Twitter users will also be able to change the color of the links they post, as well as the overlay color of their profile.

After they redesigned their look in August last year, they received bad feedback, because they changed the way people looked at the conversations on their timeline differently. However, the new design promises a much better look, allowing the users to enjoy their time spent on the web version of Twitter.

The main reason they do this changes is that round 60% of the users logged in on their twitter accounts via their mobile. Now they are trying to attract the public by making severe changes in the icons and by doing so they expect the users to frequently visit the web version of Twitter.

So far Twitter has granted access of the new and improved look to 1% of the users, so they can monitor the behavior and how often will they use twitter.com. The redesign is expected to be fully implemented in the next couple of days.
